There was peace, but for a moment. Every warband in Elysium sent a small group of representatives to the Champion games. A series of fights and challenges throughout the day that people participated in to show just how skilled they were.
There were gun duels hosted by Sonnenland, a challenge tournament held by the K’haren, a Kobald fighting pit run by the Lost and a Grand Melee that was monitored by a referee. Plus, many other impromptu challenges were set throughout the day.
There were many victories the first day, and by the time the sun was setting a giant feast was ready for all those who participated. Many a trophy was given out to many a warband representative, and good food and ale was had by all well into the early hours of the next morning.
The following day, though our representatives were a bit worse for wear, saw many more challenges initiated. The Lost had another Kobald in their fighting pit, and the Grand Melee moved into its final round. Proteus from the Fates took the title of best fighter in that tournament. However, things took a turn for the strange when some of the populace decided to free the Kobald the Lost had captured and were using in the fighting pit. This began a series of events that lead to mistrust and confusion between the Warbands, no one quite knowing who to trust. The Champions feast came to an end and each Warband went their separate ways with their winnings, as the Kobald Tsuna slipped away, but this would not be the last time she was seen.
